Adding an item to my collection

Items that you add to Kolekto must exist within a collection and category. Categories allow you to sort your items within a collection, so before adding items, please refer to our articles:

Follow the instructions below to add an item to your selected category.

Desktop instructions

  1. Click on Collections in the left-hand menu.
  2. Navigate to the category you wish to add an item to using the tree view.
  3. If there are no items in your category, click on Create new item. Otherwise click on Add item in the header.
  4. Enter the information about the new item.
  5. Select images (either from your computer or by capturing them from your webcam)
  6. Click Create item to save changes and add your item.

Mobile instructions

  1. Tap on Collections in the menu bar.
  2. Navigate to the category you wish to add an item to using the tree view.
  3. Tap on the plus icon in the header
  4. Tap Add new item.
  5. Select images for your new items, and enter information about your item.
  6. Tap Create item to save changes and add your item.
