Making and accepting offers
When listing an item in the Kolekto Marketplace, sellers can opt to enable potential buyers to make best offers for the piece.
Making an offer:
Making offers is quick and easy:
- You must be logged in to the Kolekto Marketplace (use the same credentials you use to access your main Kolekto account)
- Find the item you're interested in.
- If the seller has enabled offers, click on Make Offer
- Enter the price you wish to offer the seller, with an optional message.
- Click the Submit offer button.
Whenever a potential customer makes an offer for one of your items, you will be notified via email and push notification (depending upon your preferences). Follow the instructions below to respond to an offer.
- Click on Marketplace in the left-hand menu.
- Click on Offers
- Select Offers Received using the tabs at the top.
- Click next to the offer you wish to respond to.
- Select whether you wish to accept or decline the offer.
- Optionally enter a message for the buyer.
The buyer will in turn be notified about your response, and may contact you for further information on how to finalise the deal. You can keep track of your messages by clicking Messages at any time.
- Tap on Marketplace in the menubar.
- Tap on My Offers
- Tap the offer you wish to review.
- Select whether you wish to accept or decline the offer.
- Optionally enter a message for the buyer.
The buyer will in turn be notified about your response, and may contact you for further information on how to finalise the deal. You can keep track of your messages by tapping My Messages within the Marketplace section of the app.
